This handcrafted Raven is created from Wenge, an exotic hardwood native to Central Africa. Prized by woodworkers for its naturally deep chocolate-brown to nearly black coloration and distinctive grain, Wenge is an especially fitting choice for the raven. The wood's naturally dark tones capture the character of the bird without paint or stain, while its pronounced grain adds depth and movement across the understated silhouette. Every Raven is individually cut by hand on the bandsaw, then carefully shaped, sanded, and finished to showcase the natural beauty of the Wenge.
